Everybody shd get equal chance of applying for the post. Put a big advt and request employment agencies to keep away. Ask qualified candidates to walk in or apply. All the best. :)

Thanks Happywoman :)

Budget is an issue. Hence, releasing an ad in newspaper is ruled out. Ads were released on many job boards - without success. Which is why I felt the need to ask for help.

Also a major problem is - "commission only" is a bad word.

So ... you got a job of Women Recruiter of IT Women Recruiters ... Like Happywoman suggested, you can advertise but you are telling budget is the issue.

You can use social media, social gatherings, community functions where you find lot of women who have college going kids and wants to get back to work.

I really don't know how much salary or commission you make out of this also the women IT recruiters you are going to hire will make and if the money is enough for motivation. The problem is, most of the people I know expect some regular income and .... if it is only commission ... there is not enough motivation. But if the commission is lucrative .... I may refer some women I know.

From my experience in dealing with commission only, it will not work. It will work only for products such as ADT Alarms, equipments which are easy to sell etc..

It is always very hard and also absurd to recruit people for services on a commission basis. Only people who are desperate for a job / income will venture into this and may spoil your office name also (by bad manners).

However, it is possible to recruit some highly qualified Desi's, who are new to Canada, and feed them with this idea and try to expolit them. There is a chance to get some placements but the women may move soon or start their own company soon.

My advise would be to use Facebook. If you are able to have a workopolis work account (as many primerica people have), see who are posting their resumes, and look for a gullible female desi's and then start calling them. Promise them the moon and hope they will work for a month or two.

If your friend is a decent person, then he/she should pay atleast the min. wage + offer commissions on recruitment. This idea of your friend's is pure exploitation and you are no better than the Canadian govt. which lures gullible people to Canada.

I agree that IT has a lot of openings and money in IT flows like wine, but please donot spoil it by offering commission to recruiters who are expected to use their heart, soul, voice and strength to find suitable candidates.

Hope this helps.

Je Suis Exploitation !

Its a good step to start with a light one and speed up as you go. My wife stayed part time for 6 months part time after the second kid for 6 months before going full time again.

Yeah, you could try linkedin, workopolis, monster. These are sources I rely on.

Good luck.
