Where can we get Silver plates in GTA? I tried some jewellery stores and most of them have small/little Silver articiles. We are looking for some what larger Silver articles for puja room.

India might be the only answer.
Try to get pictures of it on the internet and ask someone to bring it over.

This may be a dumb question, but I'll ask...
Why would the op give you a return ticket to get the item and not go themselves and at the same time bring back 2 x 23 kgs + 7kgs of other items for themselves?

Time. Time is money for many .Some people are paid like $40 an hour (the kind who will buy stuff like this). The process will take min. 5 days leave.
Net cost : 5 hrsX $40X8 hrs = $ 1600.
So it pays to spend $ 1200 on some one else who will deliver at your door step.
Simple economics.
I do the same in India. My per day salary is Rs. 4000. So when my relatives ask me to take leave and drive them around, I hire a car for them at Rs 2000 a day. So every one is happy.
