If u don't trust people with ur name, work place etc, how can u build a relationship or social circle? First and foremost, the base of every relationship is trust. If there's no trust, there cannot be relationship or frnds or social circle. Human being is a social creature and needs to be among people laughing and smiling. People are so busy with survival and running aftr money that they forget to enjoy simple pleasures n moments that's literally free like going to beach as family, sitting on the porch or backyard bbq with the family, callingerie neighbours and frnds for simple bbq parties, calling people for satyanarayan pooja for prasad/ snacks once in a year, visiting each other and sharing sweets during diwali etc.

The reports suggest that the Mandir organization will receive over $422,000 for upgrades, repairs, renovation and installation of the solar panel roof system. Funds are said to be coming from Ontario’s Community Capital Fund. "
Lol ! Another posting based on hallucination.
If I read the link that HW 36 had given above, it would seem to me that the Mandir for a onetime payment of $ 422,000. THis is not even a million. Again, there is no mention of what Ontario's community capital fund means.
There is certainly no link or explanations to prove HW36 accusation of : see how Govt funds temples/churches/mosques in millions. Atleast in churches and mo's questions, devotees benefit in the form of community services and free food distributed to all people. Church offers free mattress and comforters n food to the needy but in Temple, nobody knows wat is going on. parde ke aage Bhagwan, parde ke piche social gathering and parties .
Lol !

In beginning used to go temple weekly , later monthly now ---rarely
Don't ever regret not going to temple here. coz of Govt funding, God is sold here. I visited 2-3 temple here. In first temple near
woodbine mall, coz i gv few $ donations, the priest told us to go down in basement to hv prasad. We hesitantly went down and wat do we see....u won't imagine. Atleast 50 rich couple (some with their children) dressed
immaculatEly enjoying varieties of food like 5 star hotel and whn we went down, the volunteers cme and told us food is over and thy were filling each other tiffin for their home. I was very
disappointed that such horrible things going on in the temple so I turned to go but a very beautiful woman stepped forward and told us, we cannot go without prasad and she took 4 bowls and gv us
sweets/kheer as prasad. We thanked her and walked away. I never went to that temple again. In second temple, the priest cme and talked to us trying to sell his services instead of conducting puja first. Third in swami narayan temple, we wanted to conduct aarti/archana but nobdy was around nor seemed interested. It is better to hv God in our hearts and pray at home rather thn hvg shocking experience like this and lose faith and trust in Almighty.
It's bad idea to go to temple or any other religious place in search of God - God never limit his/her presence in any particular place.....God must be omnipresent
Religious places are good for socializing , peace, free food, shelter etc .
Majority Religious leaders ( pandit, mullah, paadri , saint) are great business people - they doing this business since mankind exist
I don't find going to temple bad, you get a feeling of purity there.
There are temples which are more commercialized, and they do sell their service, but it's up to you to buy or not.
Sundays dinner in most of the temples are sponsored by individuals/families, and it's open to everybody. And you get tax receipt for sponsoring such dinners.
