Hello Fellow CDs,

I need to visit an EnT specialist, don't have much first hand experience with doctors and I don't trust rateMD rating as most of them looks fake.

Do you guys know any good ENT specialist in Mississauga/GTA.

Thanks in advance !

If you have a good relationship, with your family doctor ask them who the best is.

If you are NOT happy with the first one ..you can always go for a second opinion and visit another one..most peeps do that, they vist 2-3 specialist, since its FREE ..you are under no obligation to do what the specialist tells you or like the first specialist you see. Tell the family doc, the first specialist was a fool and ask your doc to book an appointment with someone else :)

Some peeps prefer DESI docs, some want the best doc. ..irrespective of race.

Some White docs their diagnosis is good, but they have Horrible Bed Side manners..they are rude and arrogant and racist and you can't ask them much questions..but their medical skills might be good. They will look at you as some refugee, who is here to scam the free healthcare system.

Thanks Adam,

As a matter of fact am not happy with my family doctor too :( , he doesn't sound convincing.

I was about to ask for reference for a good family doctor. I am okay with any race as long as doctor is good.

Thanks!

If you go through your family doctor, visiting an E and T speclist may have a waiting list of 1 -3 months.
YOu can apply through your family doctor and you can also do this.

Opp. Mississauga trillium hospital, there is a walk in clinic. They have both GP and all specialits. Serice is OK may be 50% good.

They work 7 days a week and till 11:00pm. You walk in and they will send you to the GP. The GP will write for you to see a E & T speclialist. They will swipe your OHIP card again and send you to the E & T specialist. All work will be done in 30 mins max. (unless you need to do blood work). However this is OK for small cases like taking wax our of your ear or you want to put a hearing aid or you want to check for tonsils. Not for cpmplex cases.

We have used this since 2003 (when it was only GP). In 2009, it became a full fledged centre will all specialists and crowd was booming in late 2010. I am sure that it will be very crowded now.

Hello Fellow CDs,

I am looking for a good family doctor.

My current family doctor simply ignores all the issues and lately I started going to walkin clinics and found that they do act quicker, but the problem is that can't keep going to walkin clinic forever :(.

As the RateMDs reviews could be fabricated, Could somebody(in Mississauga/Oakville) who has a genuine family doctor or knows/about such doctor could share the details with me.

Thanks!
