Adam,
Spot on !
It is really a coincidence. Just today I was looking at the drawings stolen from my Canada office and one was a medical centre in Toronto. If you want I will send you the drawings for your reference. It is complete medical centre (4 floors) We can scale it down.
I will hire some cheap draftsman in India and do the working drawings for you.
Please communicate to my email tamilkuravan (at) yahoo (dot) ca
Since I used to be a regular patient at the Mississauga walk in centre (Opp. trillium) I can give you tips.
Your post is all right. Hire people of various races. Desi, Muslim, East European, Blacks and people will start pouring in. It took about 2 years for the Walk in at Mississauga to start exploiting people.
You go there and they will swipe your card once and take you to the GP> GP will not even look at you but write a note to the specialist. Your card will be swiped again. The specialist will see you for 3 minutes. Some doctors are nice. Some doctors are very bad. You are out in 20 mins. with 2 swipes of your OHIP card. They donot even do any dressings there. Only tools needed are the ones to see inside your eat, ice cream sticks to touch your tounge, thermometer, BP machine, Oxygen tank (which they never use).
Adam, we will do things differently. We will give all patients coffee. We will cordon off a space for Salah (muslim prayers) - one male one female. We will also make a small play pen with toys from garage sale.
We will also try to see if a Tim Hortons / Quizno's will be interested to open shop there and we will advertize that if we get 10 swipes of OHIP card in a month, the customer will get 1 large Double / Double.
Wow ! Very good business ideas for Chandresh.

Lol.
When I was in Medical clinics and the doctor goes out, I used to take some 5-6 plastic gloves to use while I am washing vesells at house. In one time, I stole around 5 pages of the Doctor's note but then ended up not using it.
Also I often go to these clinics and take second opinions just because there are nice Gora ladies waiting for their turn at the clinics. It is time that we started co paying for some of these services as everything which is 100% unbillable to you becomes reasons for exploitation.

Hello Fellow CDs,
I am looking for a good family doctor.
My current family doctor simply ignores all the issues and lately I started going to walkin clinics and found that they do act quicker, but the problem is that can't keep going to walkin clinic forever .
As the RateMDs reviews could be fabricated, Could somebody(in Mississauga/Oakville) who has a genuine family doctor or knows/about such doctor could share the details with me.
Thanks!

try with Dr. Nissreen Jivanji - Flordale Medical Clinic. she is Accepting New Patients now.
2444 Hurontario Street
Mississauga
Ontario
L5B 2V1
She is our family Dr. from last 4 years and we are very satisfied with her services. Only problem is her administration staff sucks....very poor communication by administration staff.
She is very good in diagnoses and always rec or refer to specialist without hesitation plus always suggest good specialist Dr. without even your request.
if you need any more details than please PM me.
all the best.
AT,
I think you may be wrong. The Doctor might be responsible for hiring a Receptionist / Admin. (but she may be under the payroll of the medical clinic).
Most of the Doctors that I have seen, have their own nationality as the Receptionish / Admin. though the medical building is owned by something else.
How much is the billing for GP visit these days and how much is it when you see a specialist. I was thinking of reforming the OHIP system when I was in Toronto and even started it. The response was not that good. But I left it. May be I will start trying to reform the medical system BC in 2020. It will not be that easy but let us see.
