Hi All,
I did not know what words to put in the search to see if this question was already posed. Sorry if this is being asked again.
I am a citizen here and my parents whom I sponsored recently are PR’s. My cousin sister who wants to apply for Immigration
Is trying to claim points for my mother (maasi, pinni) and the consultant in India says she can only claim points from Fathers side
And not her mother’s side. Is this true? No where in the CIC website it states that only paternal is valid and not maternal which to me is
Unfair as well. Has anyone come across such a situation? Please let me know.
Cheers
Prince
