Will there be reduced meat consumption in the developed countries, for the sake of both personal and planet health

So to speak
Quote:
So do we all need to turn vegetarian?
We definitely need to reduce meat consumption. Governments have so far stayed mum about this because they believe their voters wouldn’t like any interference into their dietary preferences. But the researchers believe it’s about time the world gets to know exactly how harmful the meat patty in their burger is.

Hurat Honani Murat!
In India, aged cows and buffaloes are walked 100s of kilometres to the extreme southern state of Kerala. Or they are overloaded in trucks and driven recklessly with the horns of one animal getting entangled with another. When the horns get entangled, the animal's neck gets broken and they die most cruel death. All the pain and suffering they undergo is for them just to get slaughtered in abattoirs in still worse conditions. After serving the mankind their entire lifetime by providing milk or as laborers in farms and on roads, don't they deserve a decent death?. Again all this for some to exercise their right to decide what they can have on their food plate. Even man eating tigers have a better life in India. Any protest will be branded "Intolerance", done by a religion deliberately and wrongly branded as majority. The intellectuals, thinkers, writers and artistes opinion, fanned by the corrupt news media is really skewed.
