Hi All,
We(Me and my husband) have recently moved to Canada with my Month-in-law. We are looking for an apartment near Downtown where we can find Indian families as well to find some company for her. Can someone please suggest ?
Toronto the hog town. :
Corporation of Toronto consists of a very large area. It is subdivided into a few Boroughs and they have them to identify their location and it will be worth getting to know them when you are looking for a 2BR 1.5 Bath area, that is what you should be searching for. There are a few High rise Apartments with a view of the surroundings and it will be nice to enjoy the same from a vantage point.
It is left for you to see these vacant locations, bearing in mind that they will call for a leasing period of 12 months and make sure that it will be month to month there after.
Monetary point of view, it does not matter where it is that you are going to stay, unless your job is a walking distance away from the residence and you get a FREE parking at that location for ONE car at least. I know you might need a space for the
Second one too.
You are fortunate to have your M-I-Law with you to help you settle down and also enjoy the stay there with both of you.
Depending upon the availability and taste, The prices will range between $1100 upwards and please choose one to your taste. There are many other websites and Street Corner Boxes that will provide you with all of the Rental Magazines with details and you should find them and study the same to get an idea.

Hope this gets you started. Please view the place and take your family with you for the people who are renting them to you to see who it is that they are renting it to.
FH.
For those who live there, they are very specific about their location and much more so if they are old settlers there. For the rest of us, it is just a HOG TOWN.
