Hi ,
I am Canadian PR holding India Passport . I have US visitor Visa for 10 years . I went to USA in June 2016 for 1 day ( cross the border by road ) . When I cross the border the gave me entry permit for 6 months which is going to be expire on 10th december . When US immigration officer stapled entry permit on my passport he informed me that I should go to US authority in canada and inform them that I am back from USA otherwise they will assume that I am still in USA and will be considered Overstayed . I am going to india in december . I am not sure how to inform US authority in canada that I am in canada and no plan to enter USA on present entry permit .
Please share your info / experience .
Thanks
You didn't give me your location. That does not matter.
Go to the Airport and meet with the US Border control unit and ask them to remove the stapled slip off your Passport. (Try and get a photocopy for your files prior to submission)
If you can, then it is DONE.
Some Airports have US pre-clearance facilities and that helps.
Hope this helps you. (Get it done before the 10th December 2016.)
FH.

You should be able to complete the process while you are at the Toronto Pearson Airport. Please make sure it is during the Flight Hours. (Due to Noise Pollution reduction at the Flight Take Offs, the last flight could be around 10:00 P.M. for USA. )
Here is a map of the Pearson Airport and their facilities. Please use it to your advantage.

Good Luck.

(Do you need a similar service for the other members in the family too? If so prepare to do the same for the others too.!)
Thanks Full House . Yes I have to do same for My wife also .
