Guys, planning on visiting Mumbai the coming summer. Almost always flew Jet Airways in the past. After reading all the recent developments regarding the airline, just wanted to know if it’s worth booking on Jet or is it safer flying another carrier?
Your inputs are greatly appreciated
TIA

On 1/3 of their planes are operating as plane lease guys have grounded the rest of the fleet for non payment.
Pilots and staff are owed back pay and salaries so they are threatening strikes.
Etihad their partner not helping them much.
Banks like SBI are hounding them for payment as they owe them hundreds of crores.
So till things settle down, don't take a chance with them for a few bucks.

8 Air Travel Rights You Didn’t Know You Have
Updated 03/18/19
With disputes between airlines and the passengers that fly with them increasing, it’s always good to understand your rights as a traveler. Airlines are not inclined to share policies that favor the customers they serve, but there are myriad rules and regulations from the U.S. Department of Transportation they must follow. Below are eight rights that passengers have — but might not know about — when things go wrong.

Do not book with Jet airways at this moment. Today, I just received the e-mail message that local domestic flights canceled and now they are trying to accommodate my parents in alternate flight.
They have a confirm booking for 2nd April from India and hope no issues are going to arise by Jet Airways...
Any inputs, what would will happened if last moments they canceled the flights or staff going to strike? any other alternate will be accommodate by Jet airways or they are not going to care anymore?
Unlikely that US regulations will apply to Jet Airways, unless if they are international regulations applicable to all airlines

You are 100% correct. On the Dhoti, Sari and the Lungi Run, they can get away with a Chai and Samosa and with what ever the traffic can bear
.
But on the Suit, Skirt and Kimono Run, IATA rules kick in.
With the current day Smart Phones, my Grandma or any smart kid will document all of the events with all the screens that display the delays with Screens that depict the arrival and departures with the delays and cancellation pictures. No wonder, why they say No photography in the lounges and passageways.
It is the OIL Companies that are making the Moola. The Airline Companies are doing the GOyaL MALlya. OR is it SUB GOLMAL..!!
Have a laugh.
