could u please tell me how much time canadian ambassy will take to return my passport .i have submitted my passport on 27june.i have already done with my medical .its a spouse case.my husband applyied on 8th april.now its about 3months.im very tensed .plzz answer my query.

I am also in the same boat like you. I have been asked by CHC Delhi to do some additional test for my kid. I had done by medical on June 10th. and I have also submitted by Passport along with ROLF etc.I will be submitting the additional medical test report within couple of weeks.

When you have submitted your PPs at CHC? Do you hired any agent or consultant if yes then what is their opinion about your Visa.

OK Guys......this is how it is...(or at least this is how I think it is)

The agent come between us & the CHC right...so all communication between the CHC & me comes thru my agent. Now the CHC has issued the landing papers to my agent. now the agent would issue the same to me provided I have cleared all dues with him :-).

Now regarding someone's question about the time frame.....I was asked to do my medicals...and I completed the same in March. I sent my passport to CHC about a month ago...and yesterday I heard from the agent that landing papers have been issued. So I am assuming that 1 month is the time frame. (passport submission - landing papers)

...these are my assumptions.

I have completed medical of entire family on 10th. June. ROLF, photos, passport etc. submitted through my agent on 14th. June. Received the request for additional medical for kid on 30th. June thruogh my agent, although CHC has sent the request for additional medical on 22nd. June.

Anyway, my agent says that only after completion of additional medical, we may expect the landing papers.

I would like to share my experience. I work abroad and came to Delhi to submit my passport. After a weeks time I received a letter from CHC asking for documents that I had submitted 6/8 weeks back.
I was very tensed as I had not resigned from my job abroad and was on a 3 weeks leave.
Then I replied and sent the photo copies of the required documents. After one month of submitting my passport, I could not wait any longer I went to the CHC and called to the immigration officer from the gate. She was very kind and understood my problem. I got my passport with visa in 3 days.
So if there is a problem better talk to the CHC, these agents are useless.
