Candian Citizens are given preference over landed immigrant for government job. ... Actually this question was on my citizenship test "Who is given preference for government jobs?" The options were Canadian Citizen, Landed Immigrant, Work Permit Holder and Non-immigrant. It is covered in rights and responsibilities of Candian Citizens.
