My point is that-- I had been admitted to the Iowa State University in USA last year, but my student visa was refused twice. They felt I wouldn't come back, since my brother (18 years) is an U.S. Citizen by birth. Mu husband is presently studying in the USA, and my spouse visa was also refused twice. So, I applied to Canadian Universities as I didn't want my GRE and TOEFL scores to go to a waste, and also because I need to for an higher education.
My question is what are my chances of getting the canadian visa? All my life was in jeopardy when my US visa was cancelled. Will the factor of my husband staying in the US go against my favor? If I state everything truly in the canadian visa interview will it go against my favor?
Please advise....I'm banking much on what you say...

In mypoint of view the USA and CANADIAN embassy is quite differnce in both pattern to ginving the student visa.
In compare to USA \ CANADA student visa they usually consider only academic, financial and other back ground.
U have the good and all positive facter, U must prepare your self with positively, U got the canada's student visa.
In my case I 'm also student and come on student visa, with out the TOFEL, GRE also not study at University level.
U already got admission in University also the grant, this point help you to got the student visa.
So, I think u with out fear and any hasitation appear in the interw.

First rule! DO NOT LIE TO CANADIAN IMMIGRATION AUTHORITIES. You'll cloe the door for ever. Don't listen to what 'other' people say and about others who have lied their way into Canada.
Your chance of getting a visa will depend very much on the interview. the slightest hint the officer gets that you are more likely than not to settle in Canada may lead to a refusal.
If you are genuine student, there's a very good chance that you'll get your visa. Your insistance on pursuing further studies shows you desperately want to study more and more ....
