What is the difference between G, G1 and G2 license?

No you can't ..... with a legit level of alcohol at 0.08%, you can only "smell"alcohol and drive. Also impaired driving can lead to charges under criminal code of Canada apart from Highway Traffic Act.



I think it totally depends on an individual whether he can or can't.......

But yes, he may not drive with alcahol above the limit!

When i went for my G1 i failed to provide my indian driving license with over 2 years of experience....now i got my G1 but can i give my indian driving license and take the experience to get G2??

please reply soon as i am really in trouble because i already got a car..and i want to drive it without problems

Yes, you can submit your Indian licensed experience anytime and get it convert into G2 or G.

Also, sometime some location don't recognize your documents... try different location , its all depends on agent. good place to go is Mississauga or Brampton they are familiar with Indian documents.


Note: for foreign driving licensed person. technically you are suppose to drive 60 days on Indian licensed . BUT BE AWARE the time you transfer to Canadian licensed Your Indian licensed become Not Valid anymore. Which means you cant drive till you clear the Canadian driving condition.
