I have a small question. I'm a PR here in Toronto.
will complete my 3 years in Sept '04.
My salary bracket is above 45k+.
I want to sponsor my mother-in-law and my wife’s nephew as he is an orphan
(no mother & no father) My mother-in-law takes care of him, he’s 15.
When he was 7 he had an accident in which both his legs were burnt
(the skin is damaged but physically he’s ok).
In the same accident his mother died. Will he face a problem with Medical ?
What is the procedure ? did anyone else sponsored their in-laws ?
What kinda of documentation do I need to submit.
Any help will be highly appreciated. . .
Thanks

If I am not mistaken, your wife will have to sponsor her mother. This implies that you will be standing as a guarantor (for the 3/10 year clause). As the child is an orphan and is dependent on ur MIL, and is also below 18, it should be a simple case of "dependents" accompanying the person.
Whether his burns will affect the medicals ? I dont think so. As you said, he is physically fit. Maybe bighead can clarify this for me. O Brother, where art thou !
