Hi,
Does anyone around here has idea of what CHC New Delhi is doing theese days?
I mean which cases are the clearing theese days? Does`t it seems that the process has slowed down a lot after introduction of new rules with reduced marks?

Theoretically, reduced marks just makes more people eligible to apply for immigration. Hence the backlog increases and it appears that the immigration process has slowed down!

Hi Faisal,
I don't think I could comprehend your post. Could you please elaborate on what you meant by "theoretically" and "appears" . These words imply that the immigration process has not slowed down but only seems so.

yes, I mean the same.
"the immigration process has not slowed down but only seems so"
The immigration process might be carried out at the same rate by CHC, but the number of applications have increased. To cope with the increase in applications, the staffing who is taking care of processing the applications have to be increased somehow.
Thats just what I meant. I hope it is comprehendable now :-), couldnt make it any simpler.
By the way thats just my opinion based on a simple principle of supply and demand, I havent contacted the CHC on why they seem to be slower, and if they are really processing any slower.

Thanx Faisal,
My tube-light just went on. You are right - the immigration process is moving at the same pace but since applications have increased, the processing times have gone up.
