We received our landing papers and we are expecting our visas to be stamped by 1st week of September. The validity of our medical expires in January 2005. Considering some time for closing all things here, we are planning to land in 1st week of December 2004.
Can anybody give some information if the weather conditions are too bad. Will it be the worst time as we may have to go around to complete all formalities?
1st week of december is still okay, although not the best time to land in Toronto.
Dont worry, going thru all the formalities will be fun and adventure, at least for the first time.
Good Luck!

Thanks faisal for prompt reply.
Can u tell me what would be temperature like? Would it be snowing???
Tempratures are going to be around 0-5 degrees in December as it may or may not snow. But being from UAE myself i can surely tell that you will feel very cold as you are going to come from a hot country.
Apart from this relative reason it would be little difficult for you to move around initially and in cold weather i guess it will be 5 times more difficult.
Also in winters job market is also comparatively tight ( this i am told by our CD members as i am also new and haven't experienced winters yet)
I would suggest enjoy winters of Dubai and come here around in March end or April start.. It would be really nice time to come and make best of it as well.

You are right manjeet. But we are constrained by the expiry of medical which is January 05. So we have very little choice and will have to leave by december.
