Hi,
I will be landing in Toronto on the 29th of August along with my brother.
I plan to attend U of T (St George Campus). The problem lies in the fact that
I will be getting my room only from the 4th of September. I donot have any family or close friends in Toronto. Hence can anywhere here suggest any cheap accomodation for about 4 days ? Or will it be easy enough to find something once I land there itself ? Please keep in mind that I will have financial constraints.

If you don't have that much luggage, you could try a youth hostel. Its basically a place to crash but the cheapest option (Not sure of the rates now but I think I stayed for about cdn 20 a night.)

Search for "Toronto youth hostels" in google.

actually am new to canadiandesi.com. I am sorry that I didn't see the date. People take undue advantage of new immigrants. I was charged very heavily for small one room basement $850/- so, I want to help newcomers. I am not keeping them in my home. I am guiding them to people who help newcomers.
