Hi Mr. Massod,
We are having a baby in october and I am canadian permanent resident from last three years and my wife is a candian resident from 11 month, currently living in US, as I got a job in US last august. What are our options regarding our baby. I mean
Should we inform CIC, how can baby enters into canada except as an american. What's the best step to take.
Thanks

No luck. You have already landed.
Best option: Come back to Canada (3 month vacation) before the baby is born. Get passport for baby , return to US.
2nd Best: Don't come back to Canada. Settle in the US.
You will have BIG problems bringing baby back into Canada. You will need to "sponsor" your kid for which you will need to be employed in Canada. Otherwise they will create problem for you at border when you try to bring your baby back with US passport.
Less hassle to have baby in Canada.

What's the other option Mr. Massod except having a baby in Canada, which is quite hard in my case, as I have started my job only last month and it's really hard to take vacation or any kind of medical leave at this stage.

Thanks

Then you have to take the longer route, i.e. later when you are either a citizen or residing in Canada, you can sponsor your child to immigrate to Canada.

Hi Masood
Please don't take it otherwise ( May God Bless All of US ) but their is a fact that everyone should consider b4 having your baby born outside Canada . One of them is that Canada do not allow to sponsor anybody having medical problems . You never know post delivery complications . Secondly child born in Canada is eligible to get all medical facilities free of cost from the day one . Wha else all hospital expenditures during birth are borne by Canadian govt .. So pls do think ....
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Growing Old Is Mandatory ..Growing UP is Optional
Under the new law, medical problems/conditions no longer bar the admission of sponsored spouses & children.
I agree with the costs implications & medical coverage, however.
