Hi can someone tell me whether there are new taxes levied on our salaries? My new boss has deducted $15.00 from my paycheque (last paycheque onwards) and said "this time there is a $15 deduction because my system has calculated it as tax. Could someone let me know whether this is correct.

Thanks:(

Hi there
Now We have to pay health tax to Canadian Government according to our yearly income basis. Person who is making over $ 25000 has to pay health tax but one who is earning below $ 25000 do not have to pay health tax.

Does this mean that we still have to pay for eye testing every 2 years? or will it be included with this deduction?

Thanks

I thought that free eye check is no more available after October - not even once in two years. Correct me if I am wrong.
