Aha! Finally a question for an ex-bachelor with a lot of experience.

Suggestion 1
--------------

I find that the secret is not to make the tawa too hot. Keep it on low and press on the roti or the paratha for about a minute. Then turn it over and do more of the same.

It takes more time but the Rotis or parathas come out good.

Suggestion 2
--------------

Try to find some lady in your area who does catering and stuff. Nowadays, there are a lot of women who make fresh rotis regularly and sell them. You can put them in a toaster oven for about a minute and they're perfect.

Much better than the frozen option.

Suggestion 3
---------------

Simply get married as this experienced ex-bachelor BL) did!!!

Suggestion 4
---------------

Learn to make Chapatis yourself as this long married guy did!

Suggestion 5 - this is a serious one
--------------

Try different brands - either from the same store where you buy your groceries regularly or even some other stores who cater home made chapatis. Since the source of non-branded (without any company or brand name) is basically different for different store, this could work. I live in Vaughan, but this trick worked for me, and now I buy the Chapatis from a store in Markham at Victoria Park and McNicoll. They are really good, and delivered fresh on 5 days a week.

Ahem ...

Suggestion 6 -
---------------
Try swithcing your taste to pita bread

Suggestion 7
---------------
If chapati gets stiff, wrap it in wet /damp cloth and microwave it ....for not more than 25 seconds...garma garam phulke tayyar

All those men out there , try not calling it chapati ....

Why ?
C-H-A-P-A-T-I

Chapat and Pati -both in the same word isint it .... wonder how the word was coined ?

Hehe ..:D
