GG has mentioned observation deck at Minolta Tower - but there is a better option. Reach Minolta Tower in the morning - say nine or so, and have breakfast in their restaurent. The cost is about $10 and you can enjoy the view, the breakfast and feel really at the top of the world. I have done it a few times and nothing comes close to it.

Moreover, at that hour there is not too much rush at the falls, and the morning winds really blow the mist in such a manner that at times you feel you are floating on clouds.

Chandresh, Thanks for the great suggestion, breakfast and view at the same time !! ....this is what one learns over time whereas a newbie like me just would go around the place and not knowing the other great things one can enjoy in the area.

Would love to get more suggestions from old timers about the places to visit arount GTA and the "must to do things there "

It will be a good thing to share among all the old timers and newcomers.

lets share our great experiences.

-Like try taking the interior route from niagara on the lakes to the Lakefornt ...it s avery nice scenic slow drive....and many places one can just get down and follow a trail over looking the river with US on the other side .....did it only once but loved it.

Any more additions to this old post ,any good place to stay overnight in Niagara .
Would one night stay be enough for exploring Niagara.

I am planning to visit Niagara on next weekend,wanted to stay Saturday night. How to go by bus, where to stay near down town, and how to take city tour or go by any package tour? which are safe and cheapest option? I don't know any tour Co. who provides 2days tour for Niagara. Please advise. Thank you
