When calling am employer regarding a job advertisement
Make sure that you are in a quite location
Introduce yourself with your first name and last name
Speak clearly and politely
Try to get the name of the person in charge of hiring or always ask for the person in charge of hiring
plan what you want to say before you call
state the reason you are calling
direct your qualifications or interest to the job
sound very interested
answer quickly and to the point
aks if it would be possible to arrange an interview
give a telephone number where you can be reached
always thank the person before you hang up.
When an employer calls you for an interview
turn the music or television down before answering the telephone
keep a pen and paper near the phone
pay close attention to the person's name and the company from which they are calling
sound enthusiastic
write down the interiew date, time, location and interviewer's name
thank the employer for calling
