DEAR fellas,
Will someone inform to me which is the best place to live in Toronto taking into account social environment and not much of congestion?
TORONTO has six regions:-EAST YORK,ETOBICOKE,NORTH YOKE,SCARBOROUGH, TORONTO(CENTRAL D.T) AND CITY OF YORK.Which amongst these are the best to live in?:)
I have heard about the Beaches area, Orchard Lane, etc which are considered to be very decent areas ?
Alternately where are skyscraper housing apartments located in Toronto?
Please advice.
CAPRICO

Hi,
Whichever place u select , I suggest u select a place near a subway station, it is gonna help u tremendously to do all the commuting faster and less of stress, busses too are a good mode of transport, U being a mumbaite shall understand the importance of trains ( less time consuming and faster )it is like travelling in a super first class A\c train with no rush even in peak hours, u actuall expect to get to sit in a subway(train) in peak hours too.

Subway is fast, no doubt about that. I do not know where you live in Toronto but telling that you can expect to sit in subway train during peak hours is a bit too much...I used to board the train from yonge/bloor to islington around 5 pm and there was no way you could expect to sit during that time except if you are first to get in through the doors! Being first in the line and running to get a seat does not mean there is no rush!
