Will someone from India inform to me the normal period taken for processing of an immigrant visa after submiting the medicals and if all the papers are in order,no adverse requirement asked for?From CHC,new Delhi,India.

Can you share timelines while applying from delhi.

So far i know two cases of chc delhi of which i can share thier timeline to get visa after medical
1> my brother in law (sept 2001) applicant get medicals in marchl 2003.
. He did his medical in april 2003. Did not submit passport as tentaively asked . Got another letter in feb 2004 for submitting the same. He submitted it & got visa in month time. just visit for two days to canada from london to complete all formalites

2> my friend ( sept 2001) case got interview wavier in july 2003. did his medicals & also submit passports in same month itself. But recently in july 2004 after a year got another letter of need of interview. he got his passports back. So thay chap is waiting for interview

However recently we find most of the cases got thier passport stamped within 3 months after medicals. u can check http://www.immgration.ca" rel="nofollow">LINK site getting the info..
