Have you approached any galleries?

They usually ask you for your Bio, the story of the series you want to expose, past works/showings, credentials etc.

Some of them will hold the exhibitions for you(these are usually subsidized by the govt). These may take a bit more time(a year or so)

You can also pay others and this usually takes less time.

Apparently most of the galleries will look to fill up their schedules, for the next season(sept to june), sometime in Jan. So your timing for next season seems to be about right.

Note: None of this info is mine and is from a colleague who had held a few exhibitions already. She will send me more info over the weekend so let me know if you need the same.
