Greeting to every one of this innovative forum. Specially to Masoodji with Ramadan Mubarak and Eid Mubarak in advance.
My sincere thanks to Masoodji for his expert advice during our file processing at London and yes, Masoodji your prediction comes true about our visa issuance in the year 2004.
This morning, I found a brown envelop in my mailbox posted from London office. On opening it, I found 4-page supplementary with one Yellow page requesting: Your immigrant visa appear ready to be issued.
The first three pages were full of instruction about how to submit passport and forth page was Checklist. This is really a very exciting moment to receive such mail from CIC London. My time line is as per the following:
1.Our file transferred to London post on 4th November 2003 under IRPA.
2.February 10,2003 received letter to submit Schedule-1 for my dependent son studying at Toronto with Current photographs which we submitted on 5th March 2004.
3.May 15, 2004 e-client status changed to decision made that visa office will contact about decision.
4.May 28, 2004 received package with medical papers and notification to pay ROLF, to submit PCC and RCMP for dependent son in Canada.
5.June 30, 2004 completed medical.
6.July 17, 2004 submitted other documents except RCMP which has to go directly from Ottawa to London.
7.October 19, 2004 eclient added message that Medical results have been received.
8.November 01,2004 received PP request.
Hope that above statement would provide clear idea about our file processing.
Now I have few questions to the experts.
·Can my dependent son get landing without fly out Canada? If yes how?
·I wish to visit first to see my son from Dec 17 to January 10, 2005 during winter break so how fast I can obtain PR card? If I comeback to Dubai without getting PR card Can my dependent son mail my PR card? Is there any violation of rule in doing so?
·Can other dependents of my family land alone after my landing as principal applicant?
·Is it O.K. if I take goods to be followed in duplicate with just specifying items such as Books, Kitchen wears, Clothes, Furniture with cost in CDN and later send by Cargo?
·Can I get immediate one month accommodation (one room) regardless of it’s rent?
Hope your experts will extend your helping hand to provide guidelines to my above queries.
Thanks,
Mrs.Praveen
- your son can just go to the border with his papers and will be landed.
- you can get PR card in 3-6 weeks. Yes, he can mail it to you. No problem.
- other members can land alone after you've landed
- yes to your last 2 questions. See http://www.canadaentry.com" rel="nofollow">LINK regarding short term accomodation and help with initial wsettlement. I use their services.
