That song is from Gupt....
or if you have the original CD from Venus... its Song # 7 (or Song 2 on Side B of the cassette)....

Here is a quiz from my side....

Name 2 songs and the films in which they were picturized.. The quiz is as follows :-

The songs were originally picturized on artists in the original films...However, the same songs were picturized on different artists in different films... I need 2 such films, the original films and the films they were later used in.... In addition, the actors/actresses from both films should be mentioned .. Mind you these songs are not parodies or antaksharis..they are the same original songs...sung by the same original singers...except the actors/actresses were changed

(1) Aaja Re Pardesi - Madhumati - Vaijayantimala , the same song is then sung by Jaya Bhaduri in Guddi (There are two versions of Guddi I have seen, one has the Madhumati, other version has an original song)

Second one, can't recollect now as I am too sleepy, will recollect in morning.

BTW, does "Saagar Kinaare Saanj Savere" on Rinki Khanna - Rahul Bose in "Jhankaar Beats" count? The original is picturized on Dimple Khanna.

Okay Meghal you are right on that front....The second song being
"Tujhe jeevan ko dor se baandh liya hai, "...originally picturuzed on Dev Anand...but picturized on Jaya Bhaduri & Dharmendra

Now what abt the other song ?

Nope.... There is another song that satisfies this criterion... and the "Saagar" song cannot be accepted

Something not clear.

Does "Guddi" have both "Aaja Re Pardesi" and "Tujhe Jeevan Ki DOr Se". Cannot recollect Jaya singing other song.

Anyway

"Hum Kaale Hain To Kya Hua" by Junior Mehmood in Brahmachari, the original one on Mehmood in Gumnaam

"Saala Main To Sab Ban Gaya" on Aamir Khan in Raja Hindustani. The original one on Dilip Kumar in Sagina
