Dear Sir,
I have applied at CHC, New Delhi in Dec 2000 and got my medicals on April 2004 and i have completed my medicals on May 11th 2004.
I have submitted my Passport on August 10th 2004 and submitted my Malaysian PCC on 30th August 2004.
My consultancy people are telling me that they have reminded CHC for 2 times and the latest FAX reminder was on 4th Nov 2004.
Till now, there is no state of improvement in my case.
Please advice me, what i can do, rather than waiting the reply from CHC. As the process is taking too long to complete.
I have paid ROLF and i got a letter from CHC for submission of passport.
I also heard that there is a strike going on at Canada by immigration Authorities, Is it true ?
Is that the reason for the delay.
Now, i fear that after waiting for a long period , if they don't issue the visa, then i may loose all my plans and career.
Please advice me what can i do and whether there are any chances of negative result even after submitting all the requirement at this last stage
Did your consultant tell you that the reason for delay was the strike?
You've waited 4 years. A couple of months more to go ...
Less likely they'll refuse your application. However, if they do, call me because you'll need a lawyer.

Dear Massood,
My consultancy people are telling me that the delay is because of late submission of my Malaysian PCC.
They are even telling me that, my case is very much storng and 100% i will get the landing papers.
But, myself having doubt, why CHC is taking so long to clear my case.
Thanks for your reply,
Your reply made me to sit confident for some more days.
Dear Massood,
Again came to you for a valuable advice and suggestion.
Inspite of sending three reminders to CHC for early release of LP's, there is no sign of releasing landing papers from CHC, New Delhi till now.
My consultancy people are telling me to wait, thats it, no more answer from them.
Sir, is it possible to know what is the status of my case and what is the reason for delay.
This delay is eating my brain and i am almost impatient with this progress.
Please guide me
I am also passing through a very similar situation like yours. It is now hitting our plans of children’s education and my career as well. I could not take up two new assignments because of the passports lying with CHC.
After five months of submission of medicals, landing fee and passports( June 2004), CHC has recently (Oct 2004) asked me to re-submit two PCCs from two different countries where I lived earlier. This is due to expiry of the one of the PCCs while the other was from unauthorized police department (It is to be obtained from CID only as suggested by CHC) of that country. I have submitted new PCCs in Nov 2004.
My consultant has failed to advise( How come they expect me knwoing about PCCs) in time regarding the longevity of the PCCs and the issuing authority of PCCs. This consultant boasts about its size and quality of service, in my view, is nothing but writing a covering letter to the documents that we submit from time to time. After 2years of my experience now understand that some consultants are nothing but postmen, to send the papers between the CHC and customer. This also after a minimum delay of one week per post i.e., it will take one week for them to forward any document from their office.
One such post, during these two years, was delayed for almost three months, a dead line given to me by CHC. Instead, they sent me a REMINDER. Also, I was sent a reminder to pay the fee to consultant whom I have paid the very next day of their request. I know it is not intentional. It is their inability ,as I see the staff is changing too often. Every time I phone I have to brief my full story to new member of their team.
I only sympathize .No business will run for long without efficiency .
Goud, may I have your Email ID, to share some information.
Massoodji, is there any possibility to know the exact position of my case? I have applied at CHC Nairbi.
Regards,
Rajuu
Dear Massood
Please tell us, what can we do to get the landing papers.
The delay is almost eating my time.
Wait until the new year. In the meantime, you can keep faxing them. You can also request your CAIPS notes to see what's going on. It takes approx. 30 days to get the CAIPS.
