Six months passed i have completed my medicals and no sign of LP's

Dear Sir,
I have applied at CHC, New Delhi in Dec 2000 and got my medicals on April 2004 and i have completed my medicals on May 11th 2004.
I have submitted my Passport on August 10th 2004 and submitted my Malaysian PCC on 30th August 2004.
My consultancy people are telling me that they have reminded CHC for 2 times and the latest FAX reminder was on 4th Nov 2004.
Till now, there is no state of improvement in my case.
Please advice me, what i can do, rather than waiting the reply from CHC. As the process is taking too long to complete.
I have paid ROLF and i got a letter from CHC for submission of passport.
I also heard that there is a strike going on at Canada by immigration Authorities, Is it true ?
Is that the reason for the delay.
Now, i fear that after waiting for a long period , if they don't issue the visa, then i may loose all my plans and career.
Please advice me what can i do and whether there are any chances of negative result even after submitting all the requirement at this last stage

Sent everything like : Passport,PCC,ROLF,Bank statement... in july 2004
Passport was not requested but still sent it.
ROLF receipt recd on 15th August 2004.
Still waiting for Stamped passport ..........

Could you please let me know what will be possibilities on following situation:.
I applied for family immigration( 2 Year Ago) and when I applied my brother was studing in England as student visa, there were three people I sponcered my parents and my brother , now my brother completed his study and still we not get any update in our immigration file, what will happened if my brother go back india and statr working for somebody. is still he is my dependent ? or his nale will not consider in immigration to canada, do he have to apply as independent?? please advice.

Dear goud,
I think that the problem here lies with your Malaysian PCC which u have submitted. Maybe the embassy is in process of checking the authanticity of the PCC and this is delaying the issue of your visa most probably.
Do't worry., you will get that visa soon.
