2) They request All Passports and travel documents (current and expired). Are they going to Keep it or they Just want to look at it? Do I have to give it up at the time of say the Oath?

Thanks all.

What about the 2nd question?

Anyone?

You will be required to take that Landed Immigrant document (IMM something whatever). That doc will be taken away and you will be give the citizenship card. I don't imagine they will want to do anything with your Indian passport, since it will become useless without the PR card/lnded immigrant paper anyway. Then when you apply for Indian visa with your Canadian Passport, the Indian Consulate will stamp all the pages of your Indian Passpor with "cancelled" or something, and that will be the end of your current citizenship status with India. You may of course go on apply for dual citizenship but that is another process altogether.

IMO:
he booklet they have given is more than enough, unless the test and its severity is different for different locations. I studied only from the boooklet and was the first out of the examination hall in five mins flat and a full score!! :D
Just wnt thro the booklet three times making mental notes of important information. Also, you need to get only 12 answers right from the 20 that they give. There are, I think, two compulsory questions, but they are too easy. So, not too big a deal unless you actively work towards flunking!!:D
Incidentally, just curious to know - Anyone here who did flunk the citizenship test ever??

Just came back.

5 mins here too and 5 minutes to mark those circles solid......

They say 6 - 8 months from now to Oath...vow thats a long time....I am talking Mississauga.
