No comments on the news story, but I *hate* the way these Indian newspapers have created such flashy, tacky websites and force you to page through 5 sets of pages to read an article that is only 5 paras long.
Both Hindustan Times and TOI online are no better than p*&# sites.
Compare it to the newsreading experience on international news sites like the BBC and CNN, and it makes me feel sorry for TOI and HT.

hi, i'm new here and at the risk of sounding obnoxious i have to say that i personally find it really annoying when young men hit on me! what do they want -- a mother? i have a son older than some of these guys! i'd be interested in hearing feedback on this. what is the attraction? perhaps i don't see it because i'm not attracted?

You know how they say that an older woman is more experienced and knows what she wants? Well more often than not these guys are probably just after getting it.
Then there are also desperate ones who will hit on anything that moves!
And also as posted by NorthAlberta... they may find you attractive.
problem is 50+ attractive is different from 20+ attractive. so i find it difficult to believe that they are actually attracted - lol.
i think you pretty much hit on it, these guys are either desperate, or, think older women are easy.
so no matter how you cut it, it's not a compliment.
my ex re-married a girl 5 years older than our son. this, in my opinion is just as wrong! he's now into his 60s, she's in her 30s and they have 2 preteen kids. is he even going to be around when his youngest kids need him the most?
