PR CARD APPLICATION queries.
Dear friends,
I would SPECIFICALLY like to know some basic questions regarding filling, and getting the PR card AS SOON AS POSSIBLE after landing.
1)For a just landed immigrant like myself(landing soon), what has to be stated in the application Section A-Your country of citizenship?, SectionA-9,10-if the address is temporary one, ie. staying in a rented house, will it be my residential as well as mailing address?
2)Then for a just landed immigrant what will be his Section B,ADDRESS,WORK AND EDUCATIONAL HISTORY ,if currently his status is just landed and without work?
Can he state about his work experience of India?(past 5yrs,as asked for)
3)Next is what is no guarantor is present,(SectionF) from where can one get a qualified'official to sign this document(attest it)i.e for Section G in Toronto?
4)What fees does he/she takes and where to find them?
i.e a public notary?
The MINIMUM documents one has to enclose inoder to get a PR card once landed in Canada.
The PR card application states to submit:-
The Form-completed PR forrm, PHOTO-two ,one signed by the guarantor.(What if no guarantor is present?)
SUPPORT DOCUMENTS-copy of passport an landing document.
I shall be oblige to get 'straight' answers from people who are really filling up this form or already done so.

What does no thrills mean?
PR card for landed immigrants is an automatic process. You do not have to fill any forms. Immigration officer would ask you about address to which PR card is to be sent. Landed immigrant in Canada (PR) are not citizens of Canada. You have to apply for citizenship after you fulfill certain conditions.

Dear Mr.RajCanada,
Thanks for replying to my query.By your answer i understand that there is NO NEED FOR ME to fill in the PR card forms and send it to Sydney in Canada ?
And ofcourse no need for a guarantor or attestation?
Then why are they (the Canadian authorities) asking people like me(new landed imm or about to be) to fill this form and send it for getting the PR card within 30 days , inorder to fly back again on this card if required, not necessitating the need for a travel document(visa)?
Or have the rules changed very recently, just in a few days?
Pl.inform.
CAPRICO
Note:-No 'thrills' means (in this context)some people get 'thrill',excitement by twisting and turning around the topic instead of straight replies!

CAPRICO,
I think Raj is right in assuming that you have got the information you have posted from a web-site - I too get the same impression. In case that is so, those instructions are meant for people who landed before the PR cards came into being.
As correctly pointed out by Raj (unless the rules have changed recently), for a newly landed immigrant, the PR card application is an automatic process at the port of landing and it is sent to the person whichever address he/she wants it to be sent (In Canada though).
And for Sumjo
Yes we have a Sydney in Canada, just like we have a London in Canada and we have a Delhi in Canada! These are cities/towns in Canada perhaps named by early immigrants who must have come from those cities/countries.
