when do i need to submit Goods to follow list? I have some stuff which i would want to move but later on , not at the time of entrance through driving or so?

Also If i take a rental car and take inside the border what kind of objections and formalities would i need to do? assuming the rental car company exists in canada as well?

at the time of crossing the border you will need to 2 copies of "Goods to follow" list. If you are driving a rental car make sure you include your car in the Goods to follow list.

You just need your rental agreement for driving a rental into Canada.

You meant, if you are *not* driving a rental car, right?
Rental car cannot be included in GTF list.

Also, in the case of rental cars, if it is a two-way rental, I have heard of immigration officers telling the immigrant that they don't intend to settle in Canada since they have a two way rental.
To avoid problems, a one-way rental is better.
You can always rent another one-way in Canada to return to the US, if that is the plan.

I meant at the time of landing if you are driving a rental car into canada, then include your personal car to be imported into canada in the GTF list.
