Whereabouts do you live?

BTW, I thought Mississauga was part of the GTA - maybe I am wrong.

i meant toronto downtown because i am familiar with the subway and dont want to take many busses.

I assumed GTA was downtown (which its not)

Try Embassy Restaurent which is on McNicoll and Finch I think - must be one bus ride from the subway (not sure). It is really good dosa there, though not a popular place.

Why go to a restaurant when you can order fresh home made mouth watering idli/dosas?

One of our members had posted the below seen ad on Canadian Desi:

We did order the food from Manjula, and it is really good.

Guys, I feel proud of one of our members and would like to applaud her for the enterpreneurship and authentic south indian cuisine.

Amit,

The taste you say is good, and price I would say is reasonable. However what about quantity? Say if I eat one dosa in Madras Dosa would one dosa from Manjula suffice or will I have to order 2?

I would definitely want to order from this place since my wife is crazy for South Indian food.

You might remember the good old college canteen served dosas. Small in size and delicious in taste.
So you might need to order 2 if you normally eat 1 at a regular restaurant. However the idlis are standard size.

Thanks,
