We Indians are good at Indianising various western things. so like they get together for a glass of chilled beer, or a coffee at Tim H, why not let us gather for dosa at Embassy - it is a large restaurent - all we have to decide is when to meet and let's do it!

I basically want to sit down out there and eat the 'hot' dosa.

How about befriending South Indian families and exchange dinners? This way one can taste the authentic dosas, iddlies, uthappams and all that goes with these mouth-watering dishes.

i would go for a ready made dosa first, and then a bring a dish from various regions from india next time, not a bad idea!
I'd be more than willing to make the Dosas at home in exchange for good vegetarian N.Indian food
