Hello Fellow Desis,
I have sponsored my parents for Canadian Permanent Resident status (in 2000). Recently, they got the documents to undergo medical (2nd time) and the officials told them to send them their original passports after the medical is done.
Since the authorities have asked for the original passport, is it the last stage of the process? And normally how long does it take for the consulate to send the passport back (hopefully with the visa).
If any of you have gone through this before can you please shed some light for me.
Thanks in advance.
Q for you if you can answer please, because many people on this forum are waiting to hear about the status of the application of their parents. I am one of them. Will you please share you time line.
Date, your's parent applied in New Delhi for Permanent Residence?
Date, they got their first medical?
Appreciate the reply.
