Is there anyone who got an interview scheduled in detrioit...plz let me know ur timeline....it seems like ages ...waiting for an update from the detroit consulate.

My timetime:

Applied Oct 31,2003
Aor :Nov 2003
Medicals (with Interview): July 2004
File transfer to detroit : Nov 2004 (Dec 6 update shows my file #)
Interview date: ???? Still waiting) How long after file transfer???

Anyone on same boat plz let me know ur updates..

I have a friend who is in a similar situation liek u. Here is his timeline.

Applied July 2003
Aor :Aug 2003
Initial Assessment: Apr 2004 - Got a letter with Medical papers and also stating that file will be transferred to Detroit.
His file number showed up in the waiting list for interviews in the detroit site in Oct ( or before that) and till date is sitting in that queue itself. No news as of today.

At last I have got my interview date after waiting for almost 7 months. Here is my time line

Applied July 2003
AoR August 2003
IA May 2004 (Interview Req)
I finished Medicals June 2004
File transfered to Detriot July 2004
Got my date today and it is Secheduled on March 24, 2005.

I need some one to share exp on US visa.
