I've seen in your earlier posts that sponsoring baby (born outside canada) by parents who are Canadian PR takes about 3 -6 months.. but i've also heard that financial records have to be submitted by the sponsor for the last 1 year. another requirement is that the sponsor should have been living in Canada for the past one year.

So in essence, it is not 3-6 months, but 1 year & 3/6 months to sponsor baby, right?

I think they will allow you to bring the baby here and then you can apply for the baby's PR card from within canada.
talk to a immigration lawyer they will let you know the proceedure.
