i believe they are in markham..IBM is also located in markham, is known as ontario silicon valley...

Software firms are located at following locations in Ontario (mainly)

Ottawa
Markham (Just north of GTA, Mainly because of IBM)
Mississauga
Kitchener/Waterloo area (Mainly engineering software industries, two hours drive from Toronto)
Toronto Downtown

Hi

Will it be too cold during the 2nd week of April? Do we need to wear thermals & caps, besides jakets & pullovers?

Its too early to say anything in advance about that.
I remember in June 2003 when I landed for the first time, I needed a jacket to be comfortable. the average temp that time was +1 to +10, windy and rainy.
In first calendar week of April 2004, the temperature was:

MAX TEMP : 10 °C
MAX TEMP. DATE Apr.7 2004
MIN TEMP : -6.6 °C
