Hi there,
I applied for my parents immigration in 2003, while I was in Canada and I was UN-MARRIED.
The Immigration Service received the letter on May 05 2003, started processing the application on November 12 2003 .
As per the "E-Client Application Status" the application got processed on August 14th 2004 and they received the letter from New Delhi Canadian Embassy saying that the processing would be done within 26 months.
At the same time on May 4th 2004 I got married to US citizen and since then I have left my job and have been travelling back and forth from USA to Canada and have not decalred yet that I am married.
Also , my brother is also settled in Canada with his wife.
In this situation , what happens to my parents application ?
I do not plan to settle back to canada , however have not shown yet in papers anywhere.
Can my brother and his wife sign a affidavit saying that they will support my parents , even if I am not here .?
Please advice.
Thanks in advance.
