1. With many personal tax softwares available in Canadian markets, which one would you recommend?

2. Where can you go wrong (what points to watch for, most common mistakes) when filing tax returns yourself using the software?

I know of
http://www.ufile.ca/WhyUFile/10reasons.asp
You dont have to download any software, and its only 20 $ per family.
Also, if the annual income is less than 20k, they dont charge you.

When it comes to filing tax returns all s/wares are pretty much the same.....so what you want is the cheapest one....since last two years I have been using Taxcel.....available @ $8.00 + tax = $9.20

This s/ware is approved by CCRA....check out their website http://www.netfile.gc.ca/software-e.html

it's very easy to use...and you can file as many returns as you want...I didn't find anything cheaper than that...if anyone has other option...pl post here...

Abt second Q as to where one can go wrong while filing tax return thru s/ware...I guess nowhere...it's too simple....eversince I came here, I have managed to file my tax returns w/out consulting any tax expert coz it's too damn easy....I am not an accountant...but the CCRA guide explains everything precisely....
