We are visiting Toronto for the first time from March 23rd to April 3rd. We plan to go to Niagara Falls for 2 days and Windsor for 2 days to meet friends from the US. The rest of the time we are in Toronto. We are a family of 4 (with 2 small kids). Please let me know your favorite spots for sightseeing in the GTA specially in the following categories. If the site you recommend has a link, please post the link as well:
1. Temple (any Gods)
2. Indian Chaat food
3. Indian Idli Dosa (South Indian)
4. Best Indian Buffet lunch
5. Family Attractions Indoor
6. Family Attractions Outdoor (for good weather days)
7. Must-see attractions (eg. CN Tower)
8. Any other spot you particularly like.
Appreciate all your inputs.

Your attitude, not your aptitude, will determine your altitude.
jigz - thanx for the wonderland link. I hope we will have at least ONE good weather day (must be better than Winnipeg, anyway) during our 10 day stay there, so we will try to cover it.
dwrp - thanx for the links provided; I will look them up. However you seem to have missed my query - I am not researching tourist spots in Toronto. I am asking YOUR favorite spots, what are the spots you like and enjoy visiting. CAA has provided me Toronto attractions and maps, and I am browsing couple of Toronto guidebooks from library, but what I am looking for are the personal experiences. It may even be a small suburban park somewhere which may not be a tourist attraction but which small tots would love to play in. That is the type of input I would love to receive.
Thanx for all your inputs, would love to get more.
OOhh ... I forgot about Gerrad Street...
Try to go there when you will go to visit CN tower.
Sorry about that.

Are you working hard, or hardly working?
Just take a walk along Yonge street, lots of shops and hustle and bustle. Perhaps outside dundas and then go to Eaton Centre.
The CN tower is really worth it and go all the way to the top. They have a glass walk so that can be exciting.
I have heard that High Park is good but never had the time to visit it yet so not sure.
