Had a random glance at their website. Just wondering who would afford to pay $895 per subject, which they have already learnt in India (or their home country). I have heard that paper is mostly theoretical.

It also says, Financing available at 9.9% interest :(

PEO exams are similar to undergraduate exams set at Canadian Universities, set by University Professors from Canadian Universities. If you dont intend to take the course (you will have much better chance of passing the exam if you take these courses), you may need to work through the prescribed text books (standard text books in Canadian/ US universities). The exams are open book exams (except ethics and law) and usally contains engineering problems to be solved. The exam is common to all the provinces.

Not necessarily all exams in P.Eng. are open book ones. Depends on which paper is selected, accordingly, national exams have different formats. Open book exam is just one out of 4 avlbl formats.

Do I smell something here??:nono: Ultimately, the success in exam depends upon how much effort you put. And IMHO, engineers are smart enough to prepare on their own.

Does this mean, that if you take this classes, you do not need to use text books?

I do not think that Engineering syllabus in Canadian universities is much different from Indian universities.

I am surprised. That means, even though associations for all provinces are different, they have same exam?

Atleast, PPE is different for all provinces

Hello,
Thanks for all the posts. Is there any mechanical engineer who cold guide me on the PEO application documentation process.I have a B E (Mech,India) & MSIS from US.

I would be grateful if somebody could share their application template / format as I am a mechanical enigneer but working on software roll outs in Mechanical Engg.

Did anybody who graduated from Mangalore University, Mech Engg have any issues until now?

Thinking One if you could email me at I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
