We, in India always blame west for the "evils" that their culture imposes, but never on any Canadian channels have I seen such a tasteless display of skin. Movies/Programmes with adult content are usually aired after 11 PM, and has a strict warning prior to the programme.
We will still have some model, wearing a saree, dancing to the remixed tune of "Sainya Dil Mein Aana Re" . Yikes!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like throwing up
Well... Everything goes for money. Atleast after coming to CANDA we must realise it well.
What about Canadian channels, singers, shows ... either We Indians do not see it or we always see firangi things as OK.
I also have similar feelings about indian movie scene ( Not to Yikes level though) but atleast they stop at suggestive gyrations as opposed to open scenes and language vulgarity of English soaps . Channel 25 showing ads for adult audiences ... can you imagine!
Anyway there was again a digression... people started commenting on Balaji and ekta....amounting to all bad things Indian!

Most of the dialogues are liberally interspersed with English words. Nobody speaks pure Hindi any more.
This is soooo true. When my wife's cousins call up, I talk to them in Hindi and they reply in English.
