Hi guys....

Let me tell you first my time line :

Applied for PR from Buffallo: Dec 2003
AOR recieved : Dec 2003
Initial Assesment with medicalsl Done : August 2004

After a long wait of 7 months yesterday i got a letter from Buffallo states that they dont have my PCC from country of Origine(India) which i sent along with Current Employeement Records and Pay stubs, IT Returns in August 2004. They ask me about this letter with my initial assessments.

I already sent them original PCC and now they are saying me that They dont have any PCC and send us original PCC in 30 days.....

as its been 7 months already my old PCC must be expired and if i will go for new one it will take 6 weeks to come........

i already sent them the old one in fax and through the mail to but i dont know weather they gona consider it or not.....

Pls guide me wat i can do and even if they consider that old one how long it will take to process the file as my medical gona expire after couple of months......

Hope for the prompt replies...

Thanx
sandip

Contact the Indian Consulate responsible for the state you live in and talk to them regarding obtaining a PCC within 30 days. My experience with the Indian Consulates has been quite pleasant, unlike that with the "sarkari babus" back home. Based upon what the consulate says, send a fax to the CIC advising them of the time it will take to obtain the PCC. That should suffice.

Hope this helps.

Go to the indian Consulate in Toronto and show them the old PCC (hope you have a copy of it ) If yes then they will give you with in 3 days. I had done it before. Try it. or show your letter from Buffalo that should help.

All the best
