Can anyone tell me what are the current employment opportunities for IT professionals and IT sales people.

I know some HP/Sun Unix people who were project consultants and have over 5 yrs of Unix project management. Today they are having hardtime finding Level2 tech support jobs in GTA. Now they are in process of changing their profession.

What is the current scene for the software sales and marketing professionals?

I am a BE and MBA with 7 yrs of work ex in Software sales and marketing in India. What are the chances of me getting a job in this field as and when I come to Canada. I had applied in June 2000.
