Hi,
Could anybody please post the exact educational requirements for the PEO(GPA / First Class).

Is it that the licensing body just grants a set of exams for all applicants with a B.E / B Tech degree?

hi Jack109,

I hvnt seen any eligibility requirement mentioning GPA/First class, unless it is fine print or different for other provinces.

First requirement is to be academically qualified. As taken from PEO site:
The Committee may decide, in exceptional circumstances, that the applicant has academic credentials at least equal to the credentials of a graduate of a CEAB-accredited/recognized geoscience program. In this case, the Committee will identify the effective date of the applicant's academic qualification, and no examinations will be required. The applicant will then be invited to continue with the registration process.

If a degree is not academically qualified, then the committe asks the candidate to appear in certain exams. However, on this site, I came to know that, there were exceptional cases, where even they didnt have to write any exam at all.

Hope that helps.

ThinkingOne,
Thanks a lot for the reply.I just wanted to have a good understanding of the process before applying to it.

Mr Ramadoss Srinivasan (ramadosss@hotmail.com) is one gentleman who mentors applicants by reviewing their academic back ground and experience and guides them on their documentation and their approach.

Do we have anybody else who mentors the candidates?
