I recently became a permanent Immigration of Canada. However, my family didn't travel to Canada since my wife was pregnant. Now, we have a new baby and I intent to apply for immigration papers for the new born soon. The problem is that my family's immigrant visa is going to expire by the end of November and I do not think it would be possible to get the immigrant visa for the new baby before this deadline (presently I live with my family in kuwait).

What are my options? Will I get an extension for my family's visa or will I have to reapply for them (assuming we miss the deadline)? I had written to the immigration authorities nearly 4 months back about my position but haven't received any reply. We intend to travel to Canada only after getting the immigration visa for the new born

Please advise me what to do.
