hi guys,
Finally I got the job in US (washington DC). they are paying well (whatever I asked for). They are not paying anything for relocation.
I have no idea, how I am gonna move. What I was thinking that first I should take the offer letter, along with my and my family passports to the Buffalo Border and get the TN visa, and then come back to toronto, and then will move with my stuff.
Is it a good or bad idea?
Anyone wanna share something about moving stuff from canada to us?
Any suggession where to move if I need to commute to DC downtown?
I was thinking to live in Northern Virginia (living is quite cheap there).
Please advise me if someone is from there or if someone has any experience getting the TN visa.
I have a car on financing as well. Do you suggest to use same car in US? should I sale it in Canada before I move?
Thanks

Regards,
This is what I got from the US goverment website.
Canadian citizens usually do not need a visa as a NAFTA Professional, although a visa can be issued to qualified TN visa applicants upon request. However, a Canadian residing in another country with a non-Canadian spouse and children would need a visa to enable the spouse and children to be able to apply for a visa to accompany or join the NAFTA Professional, as a TD visa holder.

According to this Canadian citizens do not need a Visa as a NAFTA professional.
Does it means that the Canadian Citizen can work in US as a Canadian Citizen (without any visa in US)?
??

Regards,
TN is not a visa but a status ..
You need a TN approval /I-94 at the Border /POE/airport to be eligible to work in the US

We will find a way or we will make one

I once made a mistake, but I was wrong about it.
